OJ-FWA World Tour 2 - "Sakura" Sayaka vs. "The Cat" Misato Kubodera
http://sports.geocities.jp/ojfwawrestling
In this particular edition of OJ-FWA World Tour, we have "Sakura" Sayaka versus Misato Kubodera. Here's some background info.
Like IKU, Sayaka hails from Japanese entertainment district Shibuya. Her mother is a former Joshi Sekai champion from years ago. Like her mother, she excels in judo, and has won a number of japanese national Judo champinoships. However, she is a fresh graduate from the FWA training facility, and as such, is very inexperienced. And as you know with the Watanabe match from SNF, OJ-FWA loves to put their fresh graduates through some tough initiations. This match will be no different.
She is up against Misato Kubodera, also known by some as "The Cat." Along with Co-Owner Reiko Hikawa, she is a trainer, although she trains students part-time. Her and Hikawa go a long way back too; in the original FWA days, they trained together and had a very heated rivalry. In fact, many wonder if they still hate each other. Misato is best known for badly breaking Hikawa's left ankle, leaving her hospitalized for a long time, as it seemingly refused to heal.
Now, this match is part of the usual FWA training experience, as rookies are put through a very difficult initiation, as a way to "pay their dues," so to speak.
Also, please welcome our commentator, SEA's Joseph Matos!
