When you see the initials,  "S.D.",  what are the first words that come to mind?

Socially Dominant?

Sexually Desirable?

Or even:
Scantly Dressed?

Try this one:

"Seriously Dumb".


Whatever the case may be,  the letters S.D.  DO indeed have a significance in SRW.  They stand for "Super Driver"!

That's right!  Austrailian-born trucker/grappler Melvin "Super Driver" Fergusen is trucking is way to the hearts of SRW fans everywhere!


...Alright.

Enough bullshit.

This guy sucks ass.

"S.D." has not scored one victory since coming into SRW...  not one.  On top of all that he has also apparently just plain "lost" his Cab Boy.  This guy has the worst win-loss record in all SRW history.  His finisher, a weak post-prime Terry Gordy piledriver known also as the "Superdriver",  has yet to put anyone away...  it is surprising that they just don't wiggle out,  being that it takes him forever to actually hit the mat.

And on top of all that,  he screams too much.  WAAAY too much.

People talk about guys like Mick Foley and chicks like Megumi Kudo...  about their supreme tolerance of pain.

This guy seemingly can't take the slightest bit of pain without uttering that shrill,  goading moan.

He made his wrestling debut in 1996 in England as the "Mack Truck Daddy".  His record there, not surprisingly, is quite similar.  But there is one noticeable difference:  He won a match.

In this extremely rare and hard-to-find match,  he is faced off against Irish boxer/graps man "Putrid"  McGee.  "Putrid" (guess why he was called that!) was absolutely stinking drunk.  He went unconcious after introductions and the bell.  "S.D.",  or "M.T.D." at the time,  surprised and at the same time in a complete panic,  tripped over his opponent's prone body.  He fell,  and as he did, his face smacked hard upon the wooden surface of "Putrid's" corner stool.  Unconcious and unable to move,  he too remained stationary...  but in tripping,  his shins were covering McGee's shoulders  (He was face up)!!!  The referee confused,  counted the pin and history was made!  Upon awakening and hearing of this,  he decided to come to America, to ply his trades on a new frontier!  (It also helped matters that the British Games Commision had banned them both from ever competing in an English ring ever again.)

Besides Cab Boy,  "S.D.'s"  only other known  associates are assignment-giver Edward Blomskog,  and fellow trucker,  the elusive Lloyd McMullen.  He appears to have alot of respect for former champ SHALLOW.

Melvin will do anything to "get over" with the fans:  he'll do his truckin' strut,  he does his DTU (dyspraxic thumbs-up),  but the most far out he has gone so far has been for his match against the debuting Srash (now a member of Grabby Haye's PWA: Punks With Attitude).  During this event,  he tried to be more hip to his American surroundings.  He failed miserably.

That led to a confrontation the next day in an alley with a bottle of Corona,  so he tells us.

What's next for the Super Driver?  Only da Lord knows for sure...

And I hope we don't find out!
